How does our collection service work?

  • Toters must be out and placed the night before your scheduled pickup. Bars facing road wheels toward house.

  • DO NOT overflow your toters. Everything must be contained within your toters.

  • If you have additional trash or recycling, please arrange collection with us by 2:00 pm the day before your scheduled pickup. 203-265-0756

When is trash collection in my area?

To learn your specific collection day, call us at 203-265-0756. We collect every day of the week except during the blue holidays, which include:

  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day 
  • New Year's Day
Why was my Recycling not picked up? 

Our logistics make sure that every house is served. If your Recycling is not picked up on your designated date, please ensure your Recycling is sorted correctly and meets our guidelines.  

Remember that we don't accept plastic bags, even if it says "recyclable" or Styrofoam.

Was my house skipped? 

We use side loaders. If our truck is on the other side of the road, don't worry. We'll turn around and collect your side of the road.  

Just leave your toters out the night before your designated collection date.  

It's going to snow tomorrow. Are you going to pick it up?

Are we a day late?  

We're sorry we're late. Please note that our services halt during the blue holidays. If your collection day falls on one of our observed holidays, we'll be there the next day.

I'm sorry, but I forgot to put out my Recycling and trash. Can they come back?

We give a 1-time courtesy turnaround; after that, there's a fee.

I'm going on vacation. Do I need to halt my service? 

You only need to halt it if your vacation is two weeks or longer, ensuring you're not charged for a service you're not using.

What are your office hours? 

We're available from 8 am to 3 pm from Monday to Friday.

Why was my extra trash not picked up?

All your trash and Recycling must be contained inside the toters. If you have extra trash, you must call the day before to make arrangements.

Are trash and recycling toters free? 

Yes, we provide them with your subscription at no extra charge, which must be returned to Tony's if service is stopped.   

How do I request a toter replacement? 

For any toter replacement needs, we're here to help. Just call us at 203-265-0756 and we'll promptly assist you, showing our commitment to your satisfaction.

Is trash collection available during a blizzard or storm?  

During weather-related issues, our service remains committed to your safety and well-being. We'll keep you updated through our official channels on how it might affect your service or not, ensuring you're always informed and secure.
